You'll be prompted to add a note when you change a child's status from 'Checked In' to 'Absent' so that in the event of an error (ex: if a child was accidentally checked-in during a 'Batch Check-In') you can denote a reason for the child's absence/change of status. This required note is to help organizations be compliant with licensing requirements.
