Emergency contacts are individuals who should be contacted if you are injured, ill or impacted by a crisis.
If an emergency contact is assigned to one of your dependents, they will be contacted in an emergency if legal guardians are not available.
If an emergency contact is contacted by a school organization, the emergency contact will act as an alternate guardian who will provide temporary care for the dependent until the legal guardians are able to claim their dependent.
